Jürgen Kluge has worked at EW HOF for many years. He joined as a Product Manager and later took on the procuration and sales management; since 2015 he has been a director at EW HOF. Michael Wacher joined the company as a director, originally a lawyer with an entrepreneurial background. He had already been employed by Airbus in the M&A field before personal reasons led him back to Hof. Thomas Jaenisch is an entrepreneur in a different industry but has a special connection to EW HOF. Read on to find out what the connection is.
Thomas Jaenisch and EW HOF
Thomas Jaenisch is known in Hof and the region primarily as the founder of myboshi. Now, anyone asking what connects the man behind the beanies with electric motors has to take a look into the past with us. But first of all, let’s examine his motivation and objectives for the think tank for drive solutions.
A great team, outstanding products and reaching for the Champions League level
When the opportunity presented itself to get into business with EW HOF, Thomas Jaenisch couldn’t shake the idea. The notion of supporting, promoting and positioning the company for the future with his external view of things electrified him straightaway. Especially the potential of being able to solve problems of the 21st century by means of the product range of EW HOF. Even more innovative ideas are to be put into practice in the future together with the seasoned team. The objective is well defined: to be well-positioned in the Champions League of drive solutions.
A story still in the making
The story had already begun in 2009 when Thomas Jaenisch was still studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Freiberg. He knew someone in the company, and so it turned out that he wrote his thesis on lean management in a medium-size company using EW HOF as an example. A position was created especially for him for this purpose. Jaenisch worked in the company for about half a year and supplemented the team in Hof and also at the Rožnov location for some time. The uncomplicated and friendly togetherness is just one feature of EW HOF that stuck in his mind. And it’s no coincidence that there are a considerable number of long-standing employees and even returning employees who decided once again to make a future at EW HOF after a temporary change of jobs. And now, Thomas Jaenisch is also back on board. EW HOF is ready for the future – with all the challenges that lie ahead.
