The JKW Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH is the new owner of EW HOF. Thomas Jaenisch, Jürgen Kluge and Michael Wacher lead the company together into the future. Jürgen Kluge has already been working for EW HOF for many years. He started as a product manager, later he took over the power of attorney and sales management and has been managing director of EW HOF since 2015. Michael Wacher joins the company as a lawyer with an entrepreneurial background as managing director. He already worked for Airbus in the field of M&A before personal reasons led him back to Hof. Thomas Jaenisch, as an entrepreneur, is at home in a different industry, but has a special connection to EW HOF. You can find out what this is here.
Thomas Jaenisch is known in Hof and the region above all as one of the founders of myboshi. Anyone who now asks himself what the man behind the crochet hats has in common with electric motors must join us in taking a look into the past. But first of all we will shed light on his motivation and goals for the think tank for drive solutions.
When the opportunity presented itself to get into business with EW HOF, Thomas Jaenisch couldn’t shake the idea. The notion of supporting, promoting and positioning the company for the future with his external view of things electrified him straightaway. Especially the potential of being able to solve problems of the 21st century by means of the product range of EW HOF. Even more innovative ideas are to be put into practice in the future together with the seasoned team. The objective is clearly formulated: to take a permanent position in the Champions League of drive solutions.
The story had already begun in 2009 when Thomas Jaenisch was still studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Freiberg. He knew someone in the company, and so it turned out that he wrote his thesis on lean management in a medium-size company using EW HOF as an example. A position was created especially for him for this purpose. Jaenisch worked in the company for about half a year and supplemented the team in Hof and also at the Rožnov location for some time. The uncomplicated and friendly togetherness is just one feature of EW HOF that stuck in his mind. And it’s no coincidence that there are a considerable number of long-standing employees and even returning employees who decided once again to make a future at EW HOF after a temporary change of jobs. And now, Thomas Jaenisch is also back on board. EW HOF is ready for the future—including all the challenging tasks that come along with it.
